Match report/next week's match
On a really cold day the U11 A and B sides played against Windlesham.
Lavant's B side was made up of mainly U10s and they knew that they had a tough match in front of them.
The play in the first and second quarter resulted in a draw at half time. Lavant intercepted well but then gave the ball away to the opposition. Windlesham went ahead in the last quarter and held the two goal lead to win by 5 goals to 3. The nominated player of the match was Frankie.
The A sides had a really good match but Lavant were the most consistent. They led throughout and with some especially good defending and linking with the attack the shooters had plenty of opportunities to score. Tess is growing into her role at centre and played well as a linking player. The final score was an excellent win by 10 goals to 4. The nominated player of the match for the second week running was Chloe Wildsmith.
