Superstar of the week is Abigail Hoskins.  Well done Abigail for believing in yourself.  Having a positive attitude is very important.

Homework Club

There will be no homework club on Wednesday 16th November due to a full staff meeting that afternoon.

World War II Day

On Friday 25th November, we will be having a WWII day in the Junior Department.  Please could the girls come dressed in costume for this day.  For example, land girls, evacuees.

Parents Evening

The Junior staff will be in the Scott building between 4.15 and 6pm on Friday 11th November.  If you would like a longer appointment or are unable to come on Friday, please contact the school office to make alternative arrangements.

Junior Netball

Two teams from years 5 and 6 travelled to Portsmouth High School yesterday afternoon.

The B side lacked confidence in the first quarter and allowed the home side to go ahead by 3 goals. They played better in the next three quarters and managed to school five goals.  The result was a win for Portsmouth by 8 goals to 5.

The A sides were drawing at quarter time 3 goals each and the teams were well matched.

A change of positions was necessary when Chloe struggled with a terrible cough but the girls were very determined to work together.

Positions were restored for the rest of the game which they won comfortably by 11 goals to 6.

Well done in particular to Tess and Issy who became far more determined during the match as defenders.
