Lower school activity afternoon 22.3.11
Forms I, II and III welcomed some feathered friends into the grounds on Tuesday afternoon. On a lovely sunny day the girls were fascinated to watch a flying display by Breck Falconry followed by a 'meet the birds' question and answer session. By the end of the afternoon everyone felt they had got to know Bosworth (a Red-Tailed Hawk with attitude), Beaumont (a Harris Hawk who was extremely well behaved) and Basil (a Peregrine Falcon and one of the fastest birds on earth) very well.
