St Wilfrid's Hospice Fundraising

Members of the St Wilfrid's Hospice Lavant Valley Support Group, Nina Johns and Ronnie Stillaway, visited Lavant House on Armistice Day.  They were there to receive a cheque for £492 from the school for the Hospice.  Lavant House girls raised the donation by holding a Poetry Café on National Poetry Day and by hosting a magnificent 1960's Fashion Show.  St Wilfrid's was not the only charity to benefit from the £1,000 raised by the Fashion Show; the total sum is shared between St Wilfrid's, Canine Partners and Living Waters, an educational foundation in Tanzania.  The cheque was presented by the school's Deputy Head Girl, Brogan Challen and Head Girl, Isabel Costello.
