Lower School Activity Afternoon

Pupils from Lavant House Lower School have recently experienced the first of a new and exciting initiative aimed at enliving and enriching their curriculum during a series of afternoon sessions throughout the year.  Local children's author Penny Bush read passages of her newly published book 'Alice in Time' and talked to the girls about her writing whilst Paul Cassar (a Lavant House parent and local dentist) gave a presentation about his unusual charity work on animal dentistry.   The girls were fascinated to learn about his involvement with International Animal Rescue from ending the dancing bear trade in India to saving orangutans in the diminishing rain forests of Borneo.
