West Sussex West Area Tournaments

"Lavant House Netballers score double success!" 

Last week (Thursday, 4th March) Lavant House Netballers shot their way to double success in the West Sussex West Area Tournaments.  Hosted at Bourne Community College, the U12 and U13 Netball teams played some stunning Netball scoring over 70 goals between them to win both tournaments.

In cold conditions, but glorious sunshine, both teams played some stunning Netball against some very good teams.  Head of PE Emma Wiggs said "Coming from such a small school this really is a fantastic achievement for the girls.  It is lovely to see their hard work and dedication rewarded."  The U12 team were Bronte Harvey (capt), Jess Breach, Summer Moret, Rhiannon Phelps, Abi Sharp, Bronte Popplewell, Phoebe McCall, Georgina Cranfield, Alicia Woodage and the U13 team were Megan Adams (capt), Libby Swan, Georgia Miles, Alice Leaver, Ellie Rowe, Grace Hooper, Imogen Terry and Paris Johnson.
