Parents' Evenings and Reports
We positively encourage our parents to take a role in their daughter's education. The Headmistress has an 'open door' policy and is more than happy to see parents at short notice whenever possible. Form and subject staff are contactable by telephone, e-mail and letter or via the comments boxes in homework diaries.
Each girl receives a report at the end of each term and Sixth Formers receive monthly grade cards too. We encourage the older girls and their parents to discuss their reports and in the Senior School, form staff encourage their girls to draw up targets based on their reports to encourage further progress.
Parents' Evenings are held twice a year, usually on a Friday evening between 4.15 - 6.00pm. Older girls are encouraged to attend with their parents. Some Parents' Evenings are combined with Information Evenings, for instance for girls considering their GCSE or 'A' level options.
