Old Girls' Day 2011
A Musical Meeting for Old Friends at Lavant House
Lavant House School hosted its annual Old Girls' reunion on a sunny Saturday last month. With bumper numbers turning up, some of whom were meeting up with old friends they had not seen for over 40 years, the afternoon was a great success. Staff, both past and present, were delighted to meet up with their old pupils and to hear them enjoy a brief singing session, including the School Hymn, in the capable hands of Mrs Ann Pinhey (who had taught at the school from 1970-2004). Headmistress Mrs Kate Bartholomew said 'We were thrilled with the turnout and hope to see even more Old Girls and Past Staff here for the extra special reunion next year, when we will be celebrating our Diamond Jubilee.'
Terry Carlysle, Old Girl Liaison at the School, is keen to hear from any Old Girls who may not be in contact at the school and would like to get in back in touch. She can be reached via the School Office or by email at lavantexchange@aol.com
