Extra-Curricular Activities
All our Sixth form girls are encouraged to develop personal qualities through active involvement in whole school activities such as Drama, Music, Sport, Art and Duke of Edinburgh Award scheme.
Girls can choose from a variety of sporting activities, and help lead and coach school teams in netball, hockey, tennis, athletics, rounders and swimming. Competitive sports are played to a high standard and senior teams tour abroad. Sixth form girls can opt to study for the Community Sports Leadership Award in the lower Sixth leading onto the Higher Sports Leadership Award in the upper Sixth.
Sixth form life at Lavant does not only provide opportunities to lead others in the lower school but also to participate in a range of more adventurous activities through working towards the Gold Duke of Edinburgh scheme. The Award gives Sixth form girls a challenging and rewarding experience allowing them to serve, acquire new skills, learn and run their own expeditions.
For more information please contact Lavant House School via our contact form, or you can request a prospectus
