Welcome to the Senior School

Although this is a selective school and pupils are expected to follow an academic curriculum, nevertheless there is flexibility in the provisions made for pupils with particular needs.  The whole approach is to monitor every girl and to try to ensure that she is deriving the maximum benefit in terms of education and personal development from the provision made for her.

The school is based on a strong sense of community, with the spiritual, moral, social and cultural development of all the pupils at the heart of this.  Awareness is fostered through the curriculum, but especially through Assemblies, PSHE and RE. Moral and social development is also encouraged through positions of responsibility. The PSHE programme includes sessions on citizenship, careers education and guidance and study skills.
