Pastoral Care

In the most recent inspection report of February 2008, pastoral care at Lavant House is described as ‘outstanding'.

In the small classes at Lavant House pupils receive much individual and personal attention. The Form Teacher has the primary responsibility for the girls in her class, but all staff are readily available to support girls with particular troubles or academic difficulties, as well as sharing in their successes.

The school nursing staff look after pupils' health and are always available for a confidential chat.

There is a professional counsellor available at school. Girls may ask to see her themselves, or be referred by parents or staff.
